A Warm Welcome to the South Molton Bowling Club
Affiliated to Bowls England
Being established in 1896, the Club has a long and interesting history, having grown from a mere handful of inaugural members to its present membership of 130.

It can boast of one of the most spacious clubhouses in the county and a superb seven rink green, the envy of most visiting clubs. The Club has its own small car park but there is space for 400 cars in the public car park at the rear. Its location as the first bowling club on entering North Devon ensures an interest for clubs visiting the area.

The clubhouse has a comfortable bar and lounge and the wide expanse of windows make for ideal viewing of the games. A separate large dinning room makes for comfortable seating for teas.

The room is sufficiently large to house up to three short mats, during the winter. In addition the clubhouse has internal male and female changing rooms and a large, fully fitted, kitchen.
To comply with new regulations a separate toilet facility has been built for physically disadvantaged people and a purpose constructed wheelchair is available for such players.
